 Jennifer Peters, an enrolled member of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and a first-line descendant of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, stands as a distinguished leader and co-owner of Indigenous Advise LLC. Her journey in tribal economic and business development has been shaped by a commitment to excellence, and a profound understanding of forest and business operations.

Jennifer earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2013, complementing her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Silver Lake College, Manitowoc, WI. With approximately 10 years of leadership experience, Jennifer has dedicated around 5 years to key roles directly related to tribal economic development.

Within the Menominee Indian Tribe, Jennifer has held pivotal positions, including Interim Marketing Director and Guest Service Manager at the Menominee Casino Resort. Her significant contributions extend to executive roles such as Chief Executive Officer for the Wolf River Development Company, Chief Operating Officer for the Menominee Tribal Enterprises, and President of the Menominee Tribal Enterprises.

In her most recent role, Jennifer serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Wisconsin Indigenous Economic Development Corporation, representing all 11 federally recognized tribes in Wisconsin. Her strategic vision and dedication to fostering economic empowerment within Indigenous communities have positioned her as a respected leader in the field.
